askatchewan invited 528 immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination for permanent residence during a draw held a draw on September 8.

Candidates were invited through one of two immigration programs. These two programs are subcategories under the International Skilled Worker category: the Express Entry subcategory and the Occupations In-Demand subcategory.

The Saskatchewan PNP is officially called Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

316 candidates of those invited were eligible through the Express Entry subcategory. An additional 212 were invited through the Occupations In-Demand subcategory.

Those invited must have first submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile, and score at least 66 EOI points.

In this draw, only 16 occupations were eligible. These occupations are listed on this government webpage.

In addition, candidates must have obtained an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) to show that their foreign degree or diploma is similar to a Canadian one.
